The authenticity and careful restauration of each item of furniture is an essential criteria for Atmosphere d’Ailleurs – all exterior surfaces must be of origin. Thierry Grundman, the company founder, personally selects these items during extensive travels. “I look at each and every item in natural daylight, and examine every surface. It is easy for the untrained eye to overlook a hidden restauration. It is the rigour of our selection process and the timeless nature of the items we select rather than a volume of imports that makes us so special.”
