Gansu Apothecary Cabinet

This chinese apothecary cabinet has 75 drawers. Each drawer was used for a specific plant of chinese medicine. Its name is handwritten on the drawer. The manuscripts are original.

Its sublime patina left by a worn lacquer makes it an exceptional piece.
