Pair of Chinese horseshoe armchairs

This pair of horseshoe armchairs demonstrates the incredible know-how of Chinese cabinetmaking. The armrests are made from a single piece of wood first heated, then curved at 180°. The front and back legs as well as the seat support are also made from a single piece of wood.

Today they are mostly used as decoration objects, thus you can use them as a valet stand or to decorate a wall or a corner.
