Sharing the same values of excellence, authenticity and simplicity, Atmosphère d’Ailleurs and Zannier were destined to meet to create authentic hotel interiors together. This is how an audacious hotel project was born in Cambodia, in the luxuriant province of Siem Reap, a land blessed by the gods and part of UNESCO’s World Heritage.

The interiors imagined by Zannier are a real mix of antique furniture and unique objects associated with noble materials such as wood, leather and stone. The rooms, situated around the swimming pool and designed as traditional dwellings, are an excellent demonstration of local craftsmanship and perfectly integrated into their natural environment.

Since its opening, the Phum Baitang Hotel, a member of Design Hotels, has won numerous awards for its design (hotel, bar and spa) and architecture. At the request of Géraldine Dohogne, former Hotel Interior Designer at Zannier, Thierry Grundman went to Asia to search for exceptional pieces of rare timeless elegance that could blend into the interiors imagined by the designers. Each piece of 18th and 19th century furniture, weathered with time, has been carefully selected with the eye of a travelling antique dealer and fits into its new setting in such a way that it gives the impression of having always been there.
